We collect information you provide directly: email address and password when registering. We also collect usage data including which features you use, how many lookups you perform, and when you use the Service.
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; process payments via Stripe; enforce usage limits per your subscription tier; send transactional emails related to your account; respond to support requests.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Vantage Terminal does not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway infrastructure. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections and hashed passwords.
When you use the AI Summary feature, your ticker symbol is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the research summary. We do not send any personally identifiable information to Anthropic. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of API requests.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing); Railway (hosting infrastructure); Anthropic (AI features, ticker data only). All third parties are contractually obligated to protect your data.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@vantageterminal.app.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data. Contact us at support@vantageterminal.app to exercise these rights.
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
